This refining knife is a good universal knife for nurseries and gardeners. The small handle supports the precise handling of the blade. The blade is ground on one side at an angle, whereas the backside has a straight grind. The blade holds its edge for a long time, as it is hardened to 60 HRC and finely stropped afterwards. Handle sides are available in several variations, either made of rugged plastic or made from sturdy sapele wood. The blade steel is 1.2067 carbon steel.
