Timber scribe
Product information "Timber scribe"
In forestry, this tool, also known as race knife, scorer or tree marker, is used to permanently cut marks in wood or trees (marking without chemical products). Pests that sit under the bark can be removed and mild tree diseases can be scratched out. The timber scribe is a versatile tool. The sharply ground and curved carbon steel blade allows easy penetration into the bark and bast. The handle made of sturdy sapele wood lies comfortably in the hand when working. For safe transport, the blade can be folded in like a pocket knife.
