The "Black Cat Knife" is a cult classic! The Mercator knife with the cat engraving has become a global classic after World War II, highly appreciated for its slim and sturdy design. The additional designation K55K stands for "K" for Kaufmann (the original manufacturer), "55" for Hochstraße 55 (the original company address), and "K" for the cat symbol. The engraving is stamped under the press and painted by hand after powder coating as done in the past.
This limited edition features a copper-colored cat application, copper rivets, and a copper ring. Another special feature is the leather inlay piece.
Included in the gift set are not only the limited edition copper cat, but also a matching leather band with copper sleeve and a handcrafted matching leather case.
