The namesake of our hunting and outdoor knife HABICHT is known for his small size and agility.
These characteristics are also reflected in the new blade geometry: the ricasso enables fast and precise changes of direction in the cut. The strongly pronounced finger recess in combination with the notched back of the knife provides the necessary grip even in adverse weather conditions.
The lines of the handle and the pleasant feel of the surfaces make you not want to put this full tang knife down. The Böhler steel N690 (60-61 Rockwell) of the blade contributes to the unique cutting experience.
The knife comes with a handmade leather sheath or holster.

Belgian whetstones are used for sharpening the knives. These whetstones consist of a natural stone quarried from the Belgian Ardennes mountains. Their unique consistency makes it possible for us to grind the blades with precision and in a material-friendly way. The lighter layer is used for grinding, the slate layer on the bottom is simply to make the sharpening stone stronger. The Belgian whetstones must be wet before honing. Set the blade onto the stone at a sharp angle and pull it back in circular motions. A natural abrasive paste develops in this process, which sharpens the blade and polishes it finely at the same time. The Belgian whetstone no. 4 is the smaller one of our whetstones.
