The "Bergmann" – A Knife with History

With the "Bergmann," we have reimagined a piece of our own history. Inspired by one of our very first knives, the Webermesser, it blends classic design with high-quality materials. But more than that – this knife is also a tribute to our home region:

• The carbon steel blade with its fine tip reflects the knife’s original use in the textile and ribbon weaving industry of the Bergisches Land. Sharp, durable, and perfect for everyday use.

• The ebony handle, with its deep black color, pays homage to the coal of the Ruhr region – a symbol of the area’s industrial heritage.

• The copper structures in the Fat Carbon bolsters echo the natural formations of coal seams and ore veins, connecting to the roots of craftsmen and miners alike.
