This is a well rounded set. It consists of our large anchor knife with dark wooden handle. It offers a stylish contrast to the inleid brass anchor. At the end of the handle is a hole with solid leather strap pulled through, to keep this beautiful knife from getting lost. The blade is made of stainless steel.The leather holster with an ambossed anchor is the ideal complement for the anchor knife. It protects the knife and makes it possible, thanks to the belt loop, to be worn on a belt as well. The Belgian whetstone helps retaining the sharp edge of the pocket knife for a long time. Belgian whetstones are used for sharpening the knives. These whetstones consist of a natural stone quarried from the Belgian Ardennes mountains. Their unique consistency makes it possible for us to grind the blades with precision and in a material-friendly way. The lighter layer is used for grinding, the slate layer on the bottom is simply to make the sharpening stone stronger. The Belgian whetstones must be wet before honing. Set the blade onto the stone at a sharp angle and pull it back in circular motions. A natural abrasive paste develops in this process, which sharpens the blade and polishes it finely at the same time. The Belgian whetstone no. 4 is the smaller one of our whetstones.
