The Hippeknieps (goat knives) were once produced as robust working knives. Anyone holding one of the OTTER Hippeknieps in their hands today will recognise tradition and craftsmanship, but also precision in knife making. Local woods such as hornbeam, walnut or plum give the knife its charm. The plates and rivets are made of brass. The head rivet is ground flush with the grip shells.
