1.2. Data recording on our website
Your data is gathered in part by means of you disclosing this to us. This is necessary in order to process orders or queries via the contact form. Part of your data is gathered automatically when you access our website. This is purely technical data, such as the time of accessing our website, the web browser used, etc.

1.3. Rights in relation to your data
At any time, you have the right to have your personal data deleted. In addition, you have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority.

2. Data protection declaration

When you access this website and use its functions, personal data relating to you is saved. We treat your data confidentially and in accordance with the applicable General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We wish to point out that data transfers via the Internet can represent security risks. It is not possible to fully protect the data against third parties. In order to make sure that the transfer of your data on our website takes place as securely as possible, we use SSL encryption.

The person and organisation responsible for the data processing of this website is:

Email: f.rommel@otter-messer.de

2.2. Revocation of your consent to data processing
The orders via our shop and the free-of-charge sending of our newsletter require your personal data. Should you no longer wish for your data to be processed in this way, you can revoke your consent at any time in an informal email. The lawfulness of the data processing which took place prior to the revocation, for example in order processes which have already been completed, remains unaffected.

2.3. Right to complain
In case of breaches of data protection laws, you have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority. In our case, this is the state data protection officer of the German state of North Rhine Westphalia.

2.4. Information, alteration, deletion of your data
Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to view your personal data which is saved by us, as well as to have this altered or deleted. You can cancel your subscription to our free-of-charge newsletter which you have requested at any time.

Cookies
Cookies are small files which do not cause any damage and which do not contain viruses.
These are used in order to make our websites more user friendly and more effective.
The cookies used by us are mainly session cookies. These are automatically deleted following your visit to our website.
Cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete these yourself. You can manage the saving of cookies on your end device via your browser settings.
Cookies which are necessary in order to perform certain functions requested by you (for example shopping basket functions) are saved on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR. We as the website operator have a legitimate interest in the saving of cookies so that we can provide our services in a technically error free and optimised manner.

Server log files
The provider of your sites automatically gathers and saves information in server log files which your browser automatically transfers to us. These are:

- IP address

This data is not combined with personal data from other data sources.
The basis for the data processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR which permits the processing of data in order to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form
Should you wish to get in touch with us via our contact form, the data which you enter into the form is saved by us in order to process your request. The data which you provide is not passed onto third parties.
Therefore the processing of the data entered into the contact form takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a) GDPR).
