Our claw knife is specially designed for re-cutting sheep hooves.
The knife has a strong handle and a slightly curved short blade, which makes it possible to trim the supporting and the horn wall perfectly. When cutting in dirty places, the blade wear is particularly high. OTTER knives can be re-sharpened very easily due to their blade steel. The knife is riveted under a pneumatic hammer, creating extremely strong riveted joints. The blade, which is subject to strong axial forces during hoof processing, is thus more firmly seated between the strong steel plates.
